Dear Altamont Grade School Families,

As the summer days gently fade, we eagerly anticipate the energy and excitement that a new school year brings! We are thrilled to welcome back our returning students and extend a warm greeting to all the new faces joining our AGS family for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Before we embark on this journey of learning and discovery, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable academic growth we witnessed together last year. It was truly inspiring to see the dedication and perseverance displayed by each and every one of our students, from our youngest kindergarteners blossoming with foundational skills to our eighth graders achieving new levels of critical thinking and problem-solving.

These achievements are a testament to the hard work of our students, the unwavering support of our families, and the dedication and expertise of our incredible teachers and staff. We are immensely proud of the progress we made together.

We believe that by working together – students, families, and school staff – we can achieve even greater heights. We encourage you to stay engaged in your child's education, communicate openly with their teachers, and celebrate their successes, both big and small.

School Supplies: A complete list can be found in the back to school paper, in the grade school office, and on the district website.

Registration: Online registration will be open July 7th-August 1st.

Back-to-School Night: Will be on Tuesday, August 12th from 4 to 6pm for K-4th grade and Wednesday, August 13th from 4 to 6pm for 5th-Jr. High.

Health Records: Make sure all health requirements are up to date.
