7th Grade Coach-Curtis Higgs
I am Coach Curtis Higgs. This will be my 3rd season serving as Coach. I grew up in Altamont and played on the Jr High Teams. So when given the opportunity to be a Coach I jumped at the chance. I have found it to be a very rewarding experience. I have loved Basketball my whole life and hope instill that passion into the players as well.
As a Coach, I like to focus on working on good fundmental foundation, an understanding of Basketball concepts and top level conditioning. As well as analyzing game film and stats to help this young players grow and develop as much as they can. I also like to teach mindfulness techniques such as meditation and breathing techniues. Not just help manage the stress of a game but in life in general.
I am excited to see what this season has to offer. Lets go Wildcats.

My name is Kim Splechter. I am the Junior High Volleyball Coach. I’m married to Shaun and have two daughters, Madison and Makaylee. I teach 3rd grade at Altamont Grade School. Sports has always been a part of my life and I enjoy being able to coach girls at a competitive level. I love being able to work together to try and accomplish a common goal!

With a strong background in leadership and a passion for developing both skill and character, Jessica creates a positive and high-energy environment where athletes are encouraged to push themselves and support one another. Known for her attention to detail and motivating coaching style, Jessica is committed to helping each cheerleader grow both on and off the court.

My love grew for the sport of basketball ever since I could pick one up. My dad was my biggest supporter on making me the best player I could be. I played basketball for the school for 8 years and loved every minute of it. My coaches always pushed me to be the best and be a hard working and I want to give that back to my community by coaching for the school I played for.
