Finishing Strong
While the warmer Illinois spring weather (finally!) beckons us outside, I want to encourage all our families to help their students finish strong. It is easy for "senioritis" to kick in—even for 8th graders—but this final month is critical for reinforcing the skills that will carry them into the next grade level. Keep your eyes open for important upcoming dates: 8th grade promotion, sports awards night, and class fieldtrips.
A Note on Attendance: In these final weeks, every day counts. From end-of-year assessments to those special "Step-Up" transition days, we want your child here to celebrate their growth with their peers.
